Job Title: Mounter Helper Job Description
The Mounter Helper supports the tire mounting process for heavy construction and specialty tires in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves physically demanding manual labor, including rolling and positioning large tires and rims, preparing components for mounting, and assisting mounters to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe production.
Responsibilities

Assist mounters with the mounting of heavy construction and specialty tires onto rims using a rimming machine.

Roll large tires and rims from the staging area to the operator and position them correctly for mounting.

Verify that the correct rims are available and ready for each tire assembly.

Attach the appropriate valves and related components for different tire and rim assemblies.

Inspect rims for quality issues and perform basic touch-up painting when needed.

Lift, roll, and maneuver tires and rims weighing approximately 75150 lbs as required by the mounting process.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.

Follow all safety procedures and use hand tools properly while performing daily tasks.

Adapt to changing production needs, including moving between different mounting lines or areas within the plant.

Support mounting on different product lines, including those with multiple assemblies that require additional attention to detail.

Stay active and productive throughout the shift, keeping busy during downtime with assigned tasks.

Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production output.
Essential Skills

At least 6 months of work experience in a fast-paced or production environment.

At least 6 months of experience using hand tools in a work setting.

Ability to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and stooping throughout the shift.

Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy items, including tires and rims weighing approximately 75150 lbs.

Ability to work effectively in a very fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.

Strong attendance and reliability, with a focus on staying engaged and productive.

Comfort working in a manual labor role with repetitive physical tasks.

Attention to detail when handling different assemblies and components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in tire mounting, general labor, or general production work.

Background in construction, manufacturing, or assembly environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
