Paralegal

Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support a busy plaintiff-side litigation practice in Minnesota. This role focuses on workers’ compensation matters and is suited to someone who can manage deadlines, maintain organized case files, and contribute effectively in a collaborative legal setting. The firm is dedicated to delivering strong advocacy and responsive service to clients from a wide range of backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys throughout workers’ compensation cases by preparing documents, organizing evidence, and tracking important deadlines.

• Coordinate the filing of pleadings, forms, and related case materials to help ensure accuracy and timely submission.

• Manage case files and update information in case management systems to keep records complete and accessible.

• Assist with discovery by gathering records, reviewing documentation, and preparing materials needed for litigation.

• Help prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, and trial-related activities by assembling exhibits and relevant case information.

• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and other parties to obtain updates, records, and required documentation.

• Monitor litigation calendars and follow up on outstanding items to support efficient case progression. Requirements • At least 5 years of hands-on paralegal experience in workers’ compensation law.

• Demonstrated background supporting litigation matters, including discovery and trial preparation.

• Proficiency with case management software and maintaining well-organized legal files.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work under time-sensitive deadlines.

• Dependable attendance and the ability to work scheduled hours consistently.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and colleagues in a team-oriented environment.

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
