Opportunity Overview

Join a high-impact Finance team at the heart of innovation in the semiconductor test industry. At Teradyne, you won't just analyze numbers. You'll help guide investment decisions, support strategic customer programs, and provide insights that influence the future growth of our Compute Test Division.

Partner directly with leaders across Central Marketing, Business Development, Marcom, Factory Applications, and Test Development Infrastructure (TDI) to provide financial insights, guide resource allocation, and support key business decisions.

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and investment decisions.

  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate spending priorities, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic planning initiatives.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations that help drive informed business decisions.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead forecasting and planning activities for operating expenses, headcount, contractors, subscriptions, and strategic initiatives.

  • Support annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes.

  • Develop scenario analyses and financial models to support business planning and resource allocation decisions.

Strategic Customer Programs & Investment Analysis

  • Own financial planning and analysis for Teradyne User Support & Evaluation (TUSE) programs, including customer evaluation systems and Early Access investments that support future business opportunities.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Finance, Product Management, and Engineering teams to evaluate customer programs, growth initiatives, and strategic investments.

  • Develop business cases and investment evaluations to support financial decision-making.

  • Provide visibility into investment activity, supported opportunities, and program performance.

Executive Storytelling & Analytics

  • Develop management reporting, forecast packages, dashboards, and executive presentations for Finance and business leadership.

  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and business decision-making.

Financial Operations & Controls

  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including reporting and financial controls.

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and visibility into current and future spending commitments.

  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and financial processes.

All About You

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month-end close processes.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to synthesize data and communicate insights effectively to both Finance and business leaders.

  • Naturally curious, analytical, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

  • Passion for process improvement, automation, and leveraging technology to improve decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP and third-party Planning platforms.

  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytics and visualization tools.

  • Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve reporting, planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

  • Technology, Manufacturing or Semiconductor industry experience are a plus

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $86,700-$138,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
