Job Summary

The School of Marketing invites candidates to apply for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing position beginning August 2027. The position will support undergraduate and graduate programs, including the Marketing BSBA, Marketing Minor, certificates, and graduate-level courses.

Teaching assignments will be based on the instructional needs of the School and will include Consumer Behavior, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Management, at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Candidates with experience in engaged learning, analytics, and online teaching are especially encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach three courses per semester, or equivalent, with specific teaching assignments determined by the Director of the School based on the instructional needs of the School. Teaching responsibilities will include both undergraduate and graduate courses.

  • Teach Consumer Behavior, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Management courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels based on the instructional needs of the School.

  • Demonstrate the willingness and ability to teach additional marketing courses, such as Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, or other courses as needed.

  • Support the School's graduate marketing offerings through the delivery and development of graduate-level marketing courses as assigned.

  • Maintain an active program of scholarly research, demonstrate high-quality teaching, and contribute service supporting the mission of the School, College, and University.

  • Produce scholarly research published in recognized journals as required for tenure and promotion and demonstrate evidence of innovation and/or continuous improvement in teaching.

  • Participate in recruitment, committee work, and other service activities for the School, College, and University, and perform other duties as assigned.
