For more information, please visit www.Gridware.io. Role Description In this role, you will lead development of backend systems that power our core platform. You’ll design and scale services that handle complex workflows, integrate data from thousands of devices, and ensure the reliability of our growing systems. Your work will directly impact how effectively our technology operates at scale. Your background might look something like:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in product-driven companies
- Ability to thrive in a low-structure, high-autonomy environment with competing priorities
- Experience building products end-to-end with broad ownership
- Strong expertise in modern backend languages and relational databases (e.g., Python, PostgreSQL)
Bonus Points:
- Experience designing and scaling distributed systems or data-intensive applications
- Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Mimir
- Background working in hardware/software contexts or other operationally complex environments
