** Salary Range: $26/hr. - $34/hr. (with night shift differential) Based on years of experience and educational degree

** Full-Time Over Night shift: 7pm-7:30am

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange Countyis dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.

We are currently seeking for immediate hire: RN/LPN This position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for LPN:

  • Diploma from a National League for Nursing accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses

  • Current New York State Board of Nursing license and registration in good standing

  • BLS certification (through American Heart Association)

  • One (1) year of experience in nursing. New graduate will consider the right candidate

  • Preferred, not required, two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting
