Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly strategic and entrepreneurial Senior Manager to lead end-to-end product innovation and brand experience for EltaMD. This role owns the full product development lifecycle—from concept ideation through commercialization—while shaping global brand equity through best-in-class content, storytelling, and toolkits.

This individual will drive innovation based on consumer insights, oversee product P&L performance, and partner cross-functionally across R&D, regulatory, operations, and global markets to deliver differentiated, clinically credible solutions focused in the suncare category. In parallel, this role will elevate the EltaMD brand experience by developing cohesive global assets and toolkits that ensure consistent, compelling execution across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

Innovation & Product Development

  • Lead end-to-end product development, from white space identification and concept creation through launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Manage product cost margin, including initial sizing, pricing strategy, COG targets, and lifecycle management.

  • Translate consumer and professional insights, market trends, and clinical needs into breakthrough product concepts and innovation pipelines.

  • Partner with R&D to guide formula development, ensuring products meet efficacy, safety, and brand positioning standards.

  • Drive claims development and substantiation strategy in collaboration with clinical, regulatory, and legal teams.

  • Lead packaging strategy and development, balancing brand expression, functionality, sustainability, and cost targets.

  • Develop compelling product storytelling and positioning, including naming, claims hierarchy, and key messaging.

Brand Experience & Global Asset Development

  • Define and evolve global brand vision and equity for EltaMD, ensuring alignment across all consumer and professional touchpoints.

  • Lead development of integrated brand campaigns, content ecosystems, and storytelling frameworks that reinforce brand positioning.

  • Own creation of global toolkits and asset libraries (visual, messaging, and educational), enabling scalable execution across regions and channels.

  • Partner with creative and agency teams to deliver best-in-class visual identity systems (VISID) and content standards.

  • Drive consistency across B2B, B2B2C, and DTC channels, tailoring messaging while maintaining a unified brand voice.

  • Lead development of main product education materials, including technical, ingredient, and clinical storytelling.

  • Manage and optimize digital asset management systems (e.g., Bynder), ensuring accessibility and governance of brand assets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business or related discipline

  • 8+ years of work experience in a product marketing innovation role, preference for professional skincare and/or professional B2B experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA

  • Experience with Design Thinking / Business Model Canvas

  • Prior working experience in the skincare industry, sun care industry, and in a large, multi-national company

  • Prior working experience in global marketing developing concept writing and storytelling

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple innovation projects

  • Proven ability to successfully build a network and operate as a team member working to collaborate and influence others.

  • Passionately curious and proficient at connecting people’s needs, technologies, and business opportunities with an experimental, resilient, and agile approach to design thinking and creative experimentation.
