Full job description
About Simple Simple AI is building state of the art voice AI agents for enterprise. Our realistic agents help iconic businesses like Doordash, xAI, and Omaha Steaks handle all kinds of phone operations, from customer support to order intake to lead qualifications. We’re growing revenue like crazy and looking for a Channel Partnerships Manager to help more businesses discover Simple through the partners they trust. Simple AI raised $14M from world-class investors and operators like Y Combinator, First Harmonic, Massive Tech Ventures, Michael Seibel, Jared Friedman, Alexandr Wang, Matt Van Horn, Suhail Doshi, and Scott Wu.
The Team The founders (Catheryn and Zach) met while running software teams at YC, where they shipped tons of new products for YC founders, including YC’s co-founder matching site. Cat previously worked at Instagram and Facebook and earned degrees in math and computer science at MIT. Zach previously studied computer science and statistics at U Chicago and led software at PEAK6. We have grown into a strong team of 20+ and are continuing to scale quickly.
About the Role We are looking for a Channel Partnerships Manager to build and grow the relationships that bring new customers to Simple. You will find the right partners, get them excited about our product, and give them the knowledge and support to introduce us to businesses that can benefit from voice AI. You will work closely with the CEO, our Account Executives, sales engineering, and marketing to turn partner relationships into qualified opportunities and revenue. This is a hands-on role: you will recruit and onboard partners, stay close to their teams, help them spot good opportunities, and work with our AEs to move those opportunities forward. The best fit is someone who builds trust quickly, follows through, and cares about whether a partnership is producing real results. You should be excited to learn a technical AI product and help build a channel program while the company is growing.
What You'll Do
-
Identify, recruit, and develop channel and referral partners who serve the customers Simple is built for.
-
Own partner relationships from the first conversation through onboarding, enablement, and ongoing growth.
-
Help partners understand our product, ideal customer profile, use cases, and how to recognize and qualify an opportunity.
-
Work with marketing and sales engineering on clear partner materials, demos, case studies, and training.
-
Build a shared pipeline with partners and coordinate closely with AEs on introductions, discovery, next steps, and deal progress.
-
Keep partner and opportunity information organized, track partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, and use what you learn to focus our time on the relationships that work.
-
Bring partner and customer feedback back to the team and improve the way we recruit, enable, and support partners.
What We Offer
-
Competitive salary & meaningful equity
-
Employee-friendly equity terms
-
An office located in SF
-
Health, dental & vision insurance
-
Free lunch & dinner at the office
-
Late night Ubers
-
Regular team events & offsites
What You'll Need
-
4+ years of experience in channel partnerships, business development, or B2B sales, with examples of relationships you turned into business opportunities.
-
Strong relationship-building, discovery, presentation, and follow-through skills.
-
Ability to explain a technical product in clear business terms and help others sell it.
-
Commercial judgment about which partners and opportunities are worth pursuing.
-
Comfort owning work from start to finish in a fast-paced startup where the playbook is still being built.
-
A collaborative approach to working with AEs, technical teams, and marketing.
-
Curiosity about AI and how it can improve business operations.
Nice to Have
-
Experience with contact centers, enterprise communications, or voice AI.
-
Experience working with technology advisors, referral partners, resellers, or services partners.
-
Experience building a partner program or sales process at an early-stage startup.
-
Experience navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
If you’re excited to build strong partnerships, help shape how Simple grows, and bring useful AI to more businesses, we’d love to chat.
