Full job description

Description Join an established oral surgery practice in Dothan with a broad surgical scope, advanced technology, and a thoughtful team that supports patients from consultation through recovery. The practice makes every effort to see patients with pain or urgent needs the same day.

Whether you’re an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon or nearing the end of residency, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to an established community practice, access mentorship and peer support, and build a long-term future with a clear path to partnership.

A practice built on trust and follow-through

The practice’s mission is to deliver specialized surgical care with compassion, integrity, and teamwork. Its approach emphasizes personal attention and supporting patients throughout the process—from their first consultation through recovery.

The clinical scope includes dental implants, wisdom teeth and other extractions, bone grafting, impacted teeth, oral pathology, and facial trauma care. 3D imaging, IV sedation, and general anesthesia support careful treatment planning and patient comfort.

A strong clinical foundation

  • A varied surgical scope: Provide care across dental implants, wisdom teeth, extractions, bone grafting, impacted teeth, oral pathology, and facial trauma.
  • Technology and anesthesia options: Use 3D imaging to guide diagnosis and surgical planning, with IV sedation and general anesthesia available for appropriate cases.
  • Mentorship and peer support: Newer surgeons can access mentorship and experienced colleagues as they become part of the practice.
  • A path to partnership: Join a majority doctor-owned organization, where eligible doctors can pursue partnership and equity early in their career.

Life in Dothan and the Wiregrass

  • Downtown culture: Explore local murals, public art, museums, restaurants, and community events in the historic downtown area.
  • Live events close to home: Catch a concert, performance, or community gathering at Dothan’s Opera House and downtown venues.
  • Family weekends outdoors: Spend time at Landmark Park, with its trails, boardwalk, planetarium, historic farm, and year-round events.
  • A social scene with local flavor: Find local dining, coffee, and places to meet friends across Dothan and the Wiregrass region.
  • Room to settle in: Make a home in Dothan or a nearby Wiregrass community and enjoy a welcoming pace with everyday amenities close by.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Significant sign-on bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Malpractice insurance
  • Continuing education and marketing allowances
  • 401(k)
  • Clear, early path to partnership

Requirements
