Job Description
A defense tech firm is looking for an Industrial Engineering Technician to support its Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering teams. This is a very hands-on, production-floor-focused position responsible for collecting the data Industrial Engineers use to improve manufacturing processes, layouts, labor standards, line balance, and production capacity.
The person will spend most of their time on the manufacturing floor observing operators, performing time studies, measuring processes and workspaces, documenting workflows, and helping maintain production layouts.
This is a good opportunity for someone with hands-on manufacturing experience who wants to grow into Industrial Engineering.
Skills and Requirements
Time Study Experience 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience Production Technician Manufacturing Technician Assembler Machine/Production Operator Similar production-floor position Comfortable working primarily on a manufacturing floor. Beginner CAD Experience Background in Automotive, Aircraft, or similar field
