NDT Radiography Technician ll

We have an outstanding career opportunity for anNDT Radiography Technicianto join a leading Company located in the Los Alamitos, CAsurrounding area.

Salary: $49,920 - $ 63,440

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Radiographic Weld inspection.

• Processes hardware in accordance with internal, customer and /or industry requirements.

• Evaluates and interprets the quality of applicable fusion weld , machined and forged products to meet company and customer specifications.

• Supports other NDT personnel; provides guidance to and mentors trainees; and Level I and II Technicians.

• Performs proper warm-up and system performance checks of NDT equipment.

• Maintains daily and monthly logs and applicable records to ensure the traceability of components .

• Performs interpretations and evaluations of NDT results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

• Responsible for writing work instructions and other documentation.

• May perform and/or participate in NDT system, customer, internal, and NADCAP audits.

• Provides on-the-job training and guidance to NDT trainees and NDT Level I and II personnel.

• May perform level I duties in addition to level II duties.

• Shall comply with other duties as assigned.

• Overtime may be required.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School diploma or equivalent, plus successful completion of ASNT Level I, II courses.

• Requires documentation demonstrating completion of at least the minimum hours of formal training and experience for each NDT method requiring certification.

• These hours are required to meet the minimum requirements of SNT-TC-1A and NAS 410 rev.
