This role is responsible for advancing horizontal strategy, transformation, and portfolio execution across Cyber Security Operations (CSO). The position partners with CSO control-domain leaders and subject matter experts to connect priorities across functions, identify shared capabilities and dependencies, and translate strategic objectives into coordinated plans, decisions, and measurable outcomes. The role will help simplify and modernize tools and workflows, support high-priority initiatives, and improve transparency across the CSO portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive a horizontal strategy across CSO, connecting control-domain priorities to enterprise objectives, risk reduction goals, and technology roadmaps.

  • Partner with control-domain leaders and subject matter experts to identify synergies, common capabilities, process intersections, data dependencies, and opportunities to reduce duplication.

  • Translate complex business and technical needs into clear strategies, roadmaps, requirements, governance routines, and executive recommendations.

  • Support tool modernization and strategic initiatives from early assessment through delivery, ensuring business outcomes, control requirements, and operational readiness remain aligned.

  • Establish forums and decision mechanisms that align control owners, CST, platform teams, and delivery partners on scope, sequencing, risks, milestones, and measures of success.

  • Assess opportunities to consolidate, integrate, deprecate, or retain existing tools and workflows based on control needs, strategic fit, operational resilience, and delivery feasibility.

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with GCOR, Audit, GT, GIS, and other key stakeholders; anticipate information needs and facilitate timely, transparent engagement.

  • Work directly with CST to provide end-to-end visibility into the CSO portfolio, including demand, initiative health, funding and resource dependencies, technology decisions, delivery risks, and roadmap impacts.

  • Create executive-level presentations, portfolio views, decision materials, and status reporting that synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into concise insights.

  • Coordinate business readiness and organizational change activities, including stakeholder alignment, communications, training dependencies, and transition-to-run considerations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, technology strategy, business transformation, portfolio management, risk and controls, management consulting, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across business, technology, risk, and control organizations.

  • Strong understanding of information security operations, technology controls, risk management, governance, and the initiative delivery lifecycle.

  • Experience translating strategic objectives and stakeholder needs into business requirements, roadmaps, operating models, and executable plans.

  • Proven ability to identify horizontal implications, dependencies, and synergies across multiple functions and to influence outcomes without formal authority.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop executive-level materials and present complex topics clearly.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills.
