Job Description Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Lake Success, NY (On-Site) Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience A vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm with over 115 attorneys is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its Finance team in Lake Success, NY. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the firm while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable portfolio for assigned client accounts

  • Process and post cash receipts and transactions accurately and timely

  • Maintain daily cash tracking and prepare cash reports

  • Investigate and reconcile client account discrepancies, deductions, and chargebacks

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve high-risk or problematic accounts

  • Prepare periodic reports and analyses related to accounts receivable metrics

  • Maintain and enhance positive relationships with clients and external contacts

  • Navigate client and vendor websites/portals for account management tasks

  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable

  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and general record-keeping systems

  • Law firm experience highly preferred, but not required

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
