Full job description
This position requires overnight travel. This is NOT a local or home daily position. You will be away from home Monday-Friday. Weekends at home guaranteed. Chesapeake Geosystems, based in Baltimore, MD, is hiring Drill Helper to join our team. You will be assisting in the set up and preparation of drilling operations. This role is for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives outdoors in all weather, and wants to start a career in a growing industry focused on sustainable energy. Requirements: 1. Prior construction experience is a plus 2. Willingness to travel 3. Must have reliable transportation 4. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening 5. Good communication and problem-solving skills 6. A positive attitude and good work ethic 7. Attention to safety and ability to follow instructions Physical Demand: 1. Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity 2. Ability to lift, carry and move up to 80 lbs. of heavy equipment 3. Frequent physical activity, including reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling climbing Benefits: In addition to career development opportunities, you will be eligible for our benefits and perks after 60 days of employment: 1.
