This physically demanding role requires working outdoors, often in varying weather conditions and out of state travel. [ ]{#docs-internal-guid-4db677d2-7fff-3418-8374-fbcc6a745de6} Key Responsibilities: [ ]{#docs-internal-guid-4db677d2-7fff-3418-8374-fbcc6a745de6} - Drilling Operations: Set up and operate mobile drilling rigs (rotary, cable tool, or hammer) to drill, bore, or dig for water, including assembling and disassembling equipment. - Well Installation: Install well casings, screens, and sealants (grout or bentonite) to prevent contamination, stabilize the hole, and protect aquifers. - Pump and System Setup: Install, test, and repair submersible pumps, jet pumps, and pressure tanks. - Site Assessment: Evaluate terrain, geological formations, and underground water sources to determine the best drilling location. - Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, or dismantle existing well structures, and clean or disinfect wells to ensure safe water consumption. - Documentation and Safety: Keep precise records of drilling logs, depth, and water quality. Adhere to strict safety protocols, environmental regulations, and government reporting requirements.
