This position requires overnight travel. This is NOT a local or home daily position. You will be away from home Monday-Friday. Weekends at home guaranteed. Chesapeake Geosystems, based in Baltimore, MD, is hiring experienced pipelayers to assist with geothermal installations. You'll handle pipe, dig trenches, backfill, and support geothermal crews. Requirements: 1. Prior construction or pipelaying experience is a plus 2. Willingness to travel weekdays (overnight) 3. Must have reliable transportation 4. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening 5. Good communication and problem-solving skills 6. A positive attitude and good work ethic 7. Attention to safety and ability to follow instructions Physical Demand: 1. Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity 2. Ability to lift, carry and move up to 80 lbs. of heavy equipment 3.
