Full job description

NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It's a unique legacy of innovation fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we're tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing - an era in which our GPUs, CPUs, and accelerated computing infrastructure power computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand and interact with the world. Doing what's never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world's best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you'll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

NVIDIA is seeking a Marketing Manager to own our marketing presence and engagement across a portfolio of open source foundations and communities most relevant to our HPC, Hyperscale, and accelerated computing platforms. PyTorch is one of our deepest foundation engagements, the primary anchor of this role. Beyond PyTorch, we invest in communities where NVIDIA's technology intersects with scientific computing, language ecosystems, and systems software: the Rust Foundation, Python Software Foundation, NumFOCUS, Scientific Python communities, and adjacent open source ecosystems spanning Julia, NixOS, and the GNU toolchain. This role exists to make NVIDIA visible, credible, and genuinely active across these communities, driving content through foundation channels, representing NVIDIA on marketing committees, owning our conference presence, and building the relationships that earn developers’ trust

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead NVIDIA’s marketing engagement across open source foundations and communities, with PyTorch as the primary anchor, alongside the Rust Foundation, Python Software Foundation (PSF), NumFOCUS, and Scientific Python communities.
  • Work with engineering, product, and developer relations teams to drive relevant technical content into foundation channels.
  • Partner with the events team to support NVIDIA’s presence at PyTorch Conference, PyCon, RustConf, SciPy, and related open source events.
  • Represent NVIDIA on foundation marketing committees and working groups. Build relationships with foundation leaders and member companies.
  • Build and use AI agents, automated workflows, and dashboards to streamline community monitoring, content planning, deadline tracking, and reporting.
  • Align internal stakeholders and track program outcomes, including content reach, conference participation, community engagement, and budget performance.

What We Need to See:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in developer marketing, technical community management, or open source ecosystem programs.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools, agents, and automation to reduce manual work and improve quality, speed, and transparency in a program or marketing context.
  • Hands-on experience engaging with open source foundations in a marketing or program capacity, participating in marketing committees, driving content programs, and managing conference presence.
  • Technical fluency in AI/ML, scientific computing, or a related domain: you understand what each community cares about and can assess whether NVIDIA content is a good fit for a given audience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs — content calendars, conference timelines, committee participation, and budget tracking across several communities simultaneously.
  • Strong marketing instincts: you know how to position NVIDIA's contributions in a way that resonates with open source developers without sounding like a press release.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; foundation staff, community members, and internal stakeholders trust you to follow through and represent them well.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • A portfolio of automations, agents, dashboards, or workflows you've personally built to improve program execution, community monitoring, content tracking, reporting, or outreach pipelines.
  • Direct experience with PyTorch Foundation, NumFOCUS, Scientific Python, Python Software Foundation, or Rust Foundation — marketing committee, working group, or conference program committee level.
  • Experience managing developer conference programs end-to-end, including abstract submissions, sponsorship packages, booth operations, and ancillary event coordination.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA's developer ecosystems, CUDA, PyTorch, JAX, vLLM, SGLang, or the broader accelerated computing and AI stack.
  • Background in an Open Source Program Office (OSPO) or foundation staff / program manager role and experience co-presenting or publishing content at open source or scientific computing conferences such as PyTorch Conference, SciPy, PyCon, JuliaCon, or RustConf.
