Salary Range: $19.00 To $29.00 Hourly
This role provides a path and training for becoming a licensed Financial Consultant under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Financial Consultant and Financial Services Manager. It is expected that the Associate Financial Consultant will meet the job requirements for the Financial Consultant position within six months of the date of hire.

Complete necessary preparation for Securities Industry Essentials exam and Series 7 exam (General Securities Representative). Must sit for both exams within 90 days of hire and receive passing scores. One re-take per exam acceptable.

Complete necessary preparation for Series 66 exam (Uniformed Combined State Law Examination). Must sit for exam within 30 days of passing Series 7 exam and receive a passing score. One re-take acceptable.

Complete necessary preparation for New York Life, Accident & Health licensing exam. Must sit for exam within 30 days of passing Series 66 exam and receive a passing score. One re-take acceptable.

Complete Internal Office Essentials training and Bank training in a timely fashion.

Maintain an active awareness and understanding of rules and regulations that affect the investment and insurance business.

Accompany Financial Consultants and Senior Financial Consultants on client meetings.

Understand the LPL operating systems, sales, proposal and reporting tools.

Comply with SEC, FINRA, NYS Life Insurance Law, federal regulations, state regulations and broker dealer policies and procedures. Complete CE and licensing requirements as needed. Stay current with new and existing legislation and laws as they pertain to the financial services and tax issues affecting our clients and prospects.

Attend sales and trade meetings or conferences to help develop new sales skills or product knowledge. Utilize wholesalers for education and sales training for personal development or training for bank partners.

Conform to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees.
. Qualifications/Requirements:

BA or BS in related field preferred

Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service preferred

Proficient in reading, writing, grammar and math

Strong communicator and interpersonal skills

Proficient in use of technology including Microsoft office suite

Detail oriented and organized

Ability to travel; valid driver’s license required
Salary Range $19.00 to 29.00 Annually
