The Work:

Primary responsibilities of the Logistician Sr are as follows:

  • Supports property manager duties

  • Supports inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved

or transferred

  • Assists system developers and integrators during shipments of systems and system upgrades

  • Maintains the Defense Property Accountability System by providing entries for incoming

property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property

  • Completes monthly inventory reports per government guidelines

  • Coordinates all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade

activities

  • Develops inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed,

moved or transferred.

  • Establishes program level Defense Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property

(Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property

  • Coordinates and performs all property accountability functions and property management

functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices

  • Provides monthly inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines

  • Develops material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of

property

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

  • Ten (10)+ years of experience working as a Logistician

  • Experience with property accounting processes to include the associated forms.

  • Knowledge of automated inventory control systems.

  • Experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.

  • Experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.

  • Current US Security Clearance with a polygraph (updated within the last 7 years)

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
