Full job description

Job Description

The selected applicant will apply knowledge of and experience with engineering principles and techniques to develop and resolve moderately complex technical issues associated with US Navy communications systems and networks including software defined transceivers and amplification devices. The applicant will create and analyze moderately complex engineering documentation and work with new and existing equipment currently deployed aboard US Navy ships.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Applicants must be currently residing in, or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Understanding of communications theory of operation and digital networks

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well in a team environment or independently

Ability to be self motivated

AutoCAD and Inventor experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Military or shipboard electronics operational experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64926 - $110374

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
