Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Seasonal | Hourly | Weekly Pay

Pay: $17.00/hour + every hour you work helps your school earn an additional $1.00!

Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old

Season: November–December

Work, Learn & Give Back to Your School!

Looking for your first job or a fun way to earn extra money during the holiday season?

Stew Leonard’s Yonkers is excited to welcome local high school students back for our annual High School Fundraiser Program!

Students selected for the program will become part of the Stew’s team during one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year. You’ll gain real work experience, meet new people, help our customers, and help support your school at the same time.

School Referral Required

This program is offered to students from participating Yonkers Public Schools.

Before applying, students must first speak with their school counselor or designated High School Fundraiser Program contact.

Each participating school will select and refer students to Stew Leonard’s. Students who are selected will then receive information from our HR team about the application, paperwork, and next steps.

Please do not apply until you have been referred by your school.

What Will You Be Doing?

During the holiday season, our student Team Members help us create the fun and friendly Stew Leonard’s experience our customers know and love.

You may:

• Welcome and assist customers

• Help customers select their Christmas tree

• Keep the Garden Shop clean, safe, and organized

• Stock and organize merchandise

• Work alongside Stew Leonard’s Team Members

• Help in other areas of the store when needed

• Work outdoors during the holiday season

• Follow Stew’s safety and customer service standards

What Do You Bring to the Stew’s Team?

No previous work experience is required!

We’re looking for students who are:

• Flexible during the busy holiday season

A Little About the Job

Our Garden Shop gets busy during Christmas tree season, so this is an active job!

Team Members should be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout their shift.

You’ll also be working outdoors in cold winter weather, so be ready to bundle up!
