  • Develop complete operational routers in ERP systems and mentor other engineers on the process.

  • Lead the development of long‑term tooling platforms, modular fixtures, and scalable machining solutions.

  • Establish CNC programming standards, best practices, and CAM library structures.

  • Manage high‑impact continuous improvement projects affecting throughput, cost, safety, or quality.

  • Support engineering design for manufacturability, providing input on part geometry and tolerance schemes.

  • Serve as a senior resource for resolving complex machining, programming, or quality issues.

  • Maintain expertise in emerging machining technologies, tooling innovations, and digital manufacturing trends.

  • Mentor and train engineers, programmers, and machining operators.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or 12+ years of equivalent experience.

  • Expert-level proficiency interpreting complex engineering documentation, engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.

  • Demonstrated mastery of CNC programming, multi‑axis machining, process optimization, and tooling strategy.

  • Ability to lead cross‑functional problem‑solving efforts and implement corrective actions.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, including participation in design reviews and supplier interactions.

  • Advanced understanding of metrology, CMM programming, and tolerance validation.

  • Advanced statistical capabilities, including SPC and capability analysis.

  • High proficiency with CAD/CAM systems and digital manufacturing workflows.

Desired Requirements:

  • 8+ years of advanced programming experience across multiple CAD/CAM platforms.
  • Experience developing multi‑stage tooling systems, modular fixtures, and automated setups.

  • Experience with new product introduction or manufacturing readiness activities.

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or Black Belt).

  • Experience implementing new machining technologies or equipment upgrades.
