Full job description

Description

Essential Functions

Make collection calls on past due accounts. Answer incoming inquiries from customers & sales staff on complex issues. Assist with providing guidance & training of Collection Reps, as needed.

Resolve customer issues, disputes, short pays and complex account reconciliation, provide documentation to customers, as needed. Review orders on credit hold at least once per hour. Along with providing shared coverage for after-hours credit holds release on a rotating basis. Provide communication to sales for orders that cannot be released.

Assist with the administrative set-up, updating and entering Curbell's invoices into the 3rd party specialized web portals. Identify, analyze and solve complex problems that arise out of daily portal interaction.

Perform in-depth credit evaluations for existing accounts and prospective customers, utilizing Dun and Bradstreet and detailed financial analysis to assess risk exposure and establish appropriate credit limits in alignment with company policies.

Assist with updating Accounts Receivable processes and procedures.

Assist on any special projects and serve as a key team member supporting acquisitions.

Performs other duties as assigned.

  • 5 years: 5+ years of Business to Business Collections experience preferred
