Job Description

In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining weatherization measures that reduce energy costs and enhance building performance.

This role provides an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects while developing skills across multiple trades. We are committed to providing paid positions that foster growth, skill development, and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Install insulation, air sealing, weather stripping, and other energy-saving measures in residential and commercial buildings.

  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, drywall repair, and fixture installation.

  • Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation plans.

  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling.

  • Collaborate with team members to manage construction site activities efficiently and safely.

  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress using Bluebeam or similar digital tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or remodeling.

  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles.

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.

  • Knowledge of insulation installation techniques and weatherization procedures is highly desirable.

  • Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, or fixture installation is a plus.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Positive attitude toward learning new skills and working safely on diverse construction sites.

  • Background in construction estimating or inspection is beneficial but not required.

  • Energetic team player eager to contribute to sustainable building practices while advancing their career in the construction industry.
