Job Description

We are an insulation contractor providing high-quality insulation services to homeowners, contractors, and property owners.

Leadership Responsibilities

  1. Train and coach new installers.

  2. Perform insulation removal and installation in attics and crawlspaces while leading the crew.

  3. Handle conflict resolution as needed and in accordance with company policy.

  4. Communicate effectively with management regarding employee issues that do not align with company policy.

Duties & Responsibilities

Safety: Adhere to, champion, and enforce jobsite safety in accordance with all federal, state, and local occupational health and safety laws. Ensure that the rig is safely driven to jobsite locations.

Operations: Read specifications to determine job requirements and ensure enough supplies are on hand. Remove and install insulation based on the specifications of each job. Ensure all guidelines are followed for equipment setup and operation. Lead the team to complete high-quality work while maintaining efficiency.

Technical: Ensure the vehicle, insulation rig, and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order. Ability to operate, maintain, and diagnose issues with equipment.

Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers, complete paperwork, and accept payment for completed work. Ensure the team presents a professional image and that the jobsite is thoroughly cleaned upon completion.

Other: Continuously improve customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety. Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to motivate and influence others through leadership.

  • Excellent time management.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong driving skills, including 16-foot box trucks.

  • Technical/troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience using a CRM preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Prior experience in insulation is strongly preferred but not required.

  • High school diploma/GED required.

  • 2 years of Crew Lead experience is a plus but not required.

  • Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or a related field is a plus but not required.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.

  • Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
