This is a combined posting for Echocardiograph Technologist and Senior Echocardiograph Technologist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. If you have the qualifications of any one of these three positions, we encourage you to apply.

The Technologist, under the direction of a Cardiologist, performs echocardiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision as well as other duties as assigned. This requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves for a cardiographic diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent. He/she will participate in the clinical activities, including call, within the imaging areas of Echocardiography, Surgery, Mobile Unit and Nursing Units.

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Echocardiology, the Senior Echocardiology Technologist performs Echocardiographic procedures, assists physicians as required and does related work as assigned. The Senior Echocardiology Technologist also precepts echo students and is responsible for orienting new staff to the Echo department.

Echocardiograph Technologist

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training and must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiography and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.

Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or

Within 1 year of hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months of experience

Echocardiograph Technologist, Salary Range: Missoula, MT, United States, Min: $ 37.69 Max: $58.50

Senior Echocardiograph Technologist

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or

Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

3 years of experience as clinical technologist, or two (2) years as a registered technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.

Senior Echocardiograph Technologist, Salary Range: Missoula, MT, United States, Min: $39.98 Max: $62.05
