Full job description

Sales Manager SUMMARY: The Sales Manager assists the Division Vice President in managing the overall success of assigned branches, by maximizing profitability, generating sales individually and through the leadership of others. This role monitors the performance of the sales teams or branches within the region and re-allocates resources to improve overall results. JOB DUTIES

  • Assists in leading the sales strategy and growth plan for a division set by the Division VP.
  • Supervises the sales performance of multiple branches.
  • Implements corporate initiatives, policies, and procedures to support the overall direction of Motion Industries.
  • Responsible for achieving accounts sales and profit goals within a defined geographic area.
  • Covers all aspects of sales, including strategic and product planning, account management, training, and sales support.
  • Collaborates to identify and secure new business opportunities and improve operational effectiveness.

  • Develops sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals.
  • Creates action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships.
  • Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
  • Develops and delivers sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducts product demonstrations.
  • Coaches sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services, sales techniques, procedures, and standards to achieve sales targets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience or the equivalent combination. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional level of drive and passion for results.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to coach and provide feedback to direct reports.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Good driving record required.
