PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide tutoring for Title I PAY GRADE: The hourly rate for tutoring services will be $35/hour for certified tutors (Lead Tutors) and $25/hour for non-certified tutors (Assistant Tutors)--with college degree.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Principal/Title I Director
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 188 Days (10 Months)

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Routine physical requirements to fulfull the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Design lesson plans according to the teacher's experience and assignments in collaboration with Classroom Teacher.
- Review latest resource guides on effective instructional best practices.
- Provide input into the coordination of classroom activities.
- Provide input into the planning and development of the program.
- Assists in the reinforcement of specific skills.
- Monitors assignments.
- Creates or modifies instructional materials.
- Work closely with the regular classroom teacher to ensure what is being taught in the regular classroom is reinforced in the afterschool program.
- Attend various training to improve teaching methods.
