Full job description

Overview

Intuit Compensation Business Partners drive the acceleration of business growth and amplification of Intuit’s culture through compensation strategies and programs that help us attract, motivate, and retain the talent needed to deliver our strategy. To do that, they drive multi-year compensation strategies, lead change management, and maximize impact and scale through high performing executives and leadership teams.

Compensation Business Partners are people champions who accelerate the business through deep compensation craft, business acumen, data analysis, and change leadership skills.

As a Compensation Business Partner, you will partner with executive teams and HR Business Partners to execute the talent strategy and plan. You will work with executives to identify needs, prioritize, and design compensation solutions that enable employees to do the best work of their lives in service to our customers. You will be a people champion, business accelerator, and data-driven change leader, and you will build deep trusted relationships that allow you to have a lasting impact on the organization and team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key, influential partner to executive leadership teams and HR Business Partners with direct accountability for driving the compensation agenda in partnership with senior leadership

  • Use deep understanding of the business strategy to design the total compensation and job management approaches that help us hire, develop, and retain the talent needed to deliver it

  • Design and lead scalable compensation programs, including short- and long-term incentive plans, salary structures, midyear and year-end reward and promotion cycles, and job offer guidance

  • Operate seamlessly with key partners across People & Places including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and People Analytics to deliver compensation and broader talent solutions

  • Use HR technologies, people analytics platforms, and AI to proactively analyze market benchmarks, pay alignment, and cost, and to model and build the business case for reward and talent decisions

  • Establish governance, standards, and repeatable mechanisms so programs scale and outlast any single project or owner

  • Drive improvement in key metrics such as pay competitiveness, retention, pay-for-performance alignment, and mobility

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years experience in a compensation or HR Business Partner or related role partnering with executives to build high-performing teams and lead change

  • Deep compensation craft: experience designing incentive plans, salary structures, and job architecture and running compensation cycles

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in a Human Resources, finance, or economics-related field preferred), or equivalent work experience

  • Strong business acumen—demonstrated ability to learn business objectives quickly and influence pay and talent decisions that impact business outcomes

  • Strong analytical and AI skills, including market benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and financial modeling, with direct ownership of interpreting data to influence decision making

  • Experience framing compensation options and tradeoffs (cost, alignment, competitiveness) for executives and driving them to decisions

  • Experience building relationships across the HR function as well as across leadership teams, within and outside of the core client groups

This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits (https://www.intuit.com/careers/benefits/full-time-employees/) ).
