Full job description
Subimage maps infrastructure the way an attacker does so security teams at scale-ups and enterprises can find and fix problems. We’re built on Cartography, the open source tool our founders helped create at Lyft that’s now a CNCF project, adopted at over 70 companies. We are a seed stage company (a mighty team of 3!) but are growing rapidly - our customers are companies and organizations that your parents have heard of. Why we are hiring you Cybersecurity tools that look and feel good to use are rare. We win bake-offs when we’re able to capture the hearts of everyday cybersecurity engineers through thoughtful design that makes their lives easier, turning them into internal champions. Most tools produce too much data. We sell a graph; our product makes impossibly complex signals comprehensible. What you’ll do
- Think critically about how users experience the Subimage platform, and design features that turn a confusing problem into a simple one.
- Work with our design engineer and the rest of the team to prototype, build, and ship strong user interfaces.
- After shipping a v1, continually observe where prior design hypotheses have missed the mark and address unexpected pain points.
Who we’re looking for
- 1+ years of experience designing software.
- Someone with a keen eye for typography and detail.
- Experience with design tools such as the Adobe Suite, Figma, etc. but also a willingness to experiment with emerging tools and processes.
- Is willing to wear multiple hats and take ownership within Subimage’s visual identity.
Extra points if…
- You can create graphic designs, illustrations, or motion graphics.
- You can code or have worked as a design engineer.
Benefits
- Health + Vision + Dental
- 401k match (what STARTUP does this?)
Perks
- Gym membership
- Lunches with team
- Unlimited PTO
