Full job description
Provide strategic leadership for large-scale, complex initiatives across the consumer shopping journey, connecting customer experience, business priorities, technology, and operations across organizational boundaries. * Lead high-visibility strategic IC work in cross-cutting areas such as customer identity and other foundational capabilities that shape the end-to-end commerce experience. * Translate ambiguous customer and business opportunities into clear problem statements, strategic direction, decision criteria, success measures, and actionable paths forward. * Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority, using customer insight, data, sound judgment, clear tradeoffs, and strong executive communication to build alignment and momentum. * Connect decisions across discovery, consideration, purchase, post-purchase, account, and service experiences so individual initiatives strengthen the broader consumer journey. * Contribute the consumer eCommerce perspective to the evolution of our commerce platforms and future-state capabilities, helping connect today's priorities with the experiences and operating models we are building toward. * Establish practical decision frameworks, working agreements, stakeholder forums, and operating rhythms that help complex initiatives move forward with greater clarity and consistency. * Mentor and coach team members on strategic thinking, problem framing, stakeholder influence, decision quality, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership. * Help evolve team ways of working by sharing repeatable practices, raising the quality bar, and building the skills and operating discipline needed to succeed as our commerce environment changes. * Keep risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and recommendations visible, enabling timely decisions and measurable customer and business outcomes. Required qualifications * Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in consumer eCommerce, marketing technology, digital product, technology strategy, or a related discipline. * Proven ability to influence senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups, resolve competing priorities, and move consequential work forward in a highly matrixed environment. * Experience translating customer and business needs into strategic direction, capability requirements, roadmaps, decision frameworks, and measurable outcomes. * Strong understanding of digital shopping journeys and the relationships among customer experience, technology, data, content, operations, and business performance. * Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous, cross-system challenges. * A demonstrated record of mentoring others, strengthening team practices, and raising the effectiveness of cross-functional work. Preferred qualifications * Experience with global consumer eCommerce and capabilities such as identity and account experiences, storefronts, content, search, personalization, cart and checkout, payments, or post-purchase experiences. * Experience helping organizations evolve customer-facing platforms, operating models, and ways of working while continuing to deliver for today's business. * Experience partnering closely with engineering and platform teams to connect technical decisions with customer, marketing, and business outcomes. * Experience navigating privacy, security, accessibility, legal, compliance, and operational considerations in customer-facing digital experiences.
