Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, you'll lead a team of 6 sales representatives, shape and carry out regional sales strategy, and work closely with cross-functional teams. You'll have guidance only on broad objectives, so you'll have real ownership over how your region gets there.

What you will be doing

  • Leading and directing your sales team to hit sales and profit goals, and setting challenging but achievable targets for each rep and for the region as a whole.

  • Coaching and mentoring your reps regularly, running performance evaluations, and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Building short- and long-term sales strategies tailored to your region by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

  • Partnering with engineering, marketing, product development, and other teams to align sales efforts with company strategy.

  • Monitoring sales performance and putting corrective actions in place where needed.

  • Cultivating strong relationships with key customers and pursuing new opportunities across the region.

  • Negotiating and closing high-value deals, and resolving customer complaints promptly and effectively.

  • Providing ongoing training and development for your team.

How you will be making an impact

  • Expanding the company's market share and maximizing profitability across the Americas Region.

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term loyalty with key accounts.

  • Creating a positive, results-oriented environment that motivates and energizes your team.

  • Empowering your reps to make decisions and take ownership of their sales pipelines.

  • Recognizing and rewarding individual and team achievements to build a culture of excellence.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferred) or Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (required).

  • At least 5 years of sales management experience, with a proven track record of hitting sales targets.

  • Extensive knowledge of sales methodologies, strategies, and best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and motivating teams.

  • Able to travel at least 50% of the time.

How will we reward you

Southco offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, along with the opportunity to put your fingerprints on every major product launch across the company. As part of this role you can expect:

  • Competitive base salary and performance-based incentives

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Retirement savings plan with company contribution

  • Paid time off and holidays

  • Opportunities for professional growth within a global marketing organization
