Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for NITC Instructors to provide technical, foundational, leadership, or specialized instruction to international military students using established NITC curricula. This position will be located in Pensacola, FL, and will be a fully on-site position.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom or practical instruction to international military students at NAS Pensacola using existing NITC curricula.

  • Prepare for and deliver assigned lessons, exercises, assessments, and learning activities in the instructor's qualified subject area.

  • Potential Subject Matter Specialties:Shipboard anti-submarine systems, Aircraft anti-submarine systems, Shipboard engineering systems, Shipboard combat systems, Aircraft avionics systems, Aircraft flight systems, Aircraft engine systems, Mechanics, Electricity and electronics, Mathematics, Physical science, English and reading concepts, Explosive ordnance disposal and underwater disposal, Anti-terrorism, Leadership and strategic planning, Manpower and personnel planning, Computer technologies and management information systems, Supply and senior storekeeper management.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain required instructional records, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Review assigned curricula and submit recommended updates at the conclusion of each course.

  • Adapt delivery appropriately for adult learners from varied military and cultural backgrounds while preserving approved course objectives and standards.

  • Provide associated administrative support required by the task order.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: None

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, technical, education, management, or closely related field.

  • At least six years of experience in military training positions requiring application of technical knowledge in the specialty identified for the requisition.

  • Demonstrated instructional or facilitation ability in the assigned subject area.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with adult learners from varied military and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • • Military instructor certification or formal instructor-development training.• Experience instructing international military students.• Experience reviewing curricula and developing evidence-based recommendations for course updates.
