Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an FST Lead Instructor to oversee FST operations and provide day-to-day direction to FST instructors. This position will be located in Pensacola, FL, and will be a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

The Lead coordinates instructional coverage, produces recurring course schedules, teaches FST courses when needed, and supports effective delivery of foundational academic and technical training.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Fundamental Skills Training Division operations and provide direction to FST instructors.

  • Coordinate instructional assignments, classroom coverage, and division resources.

  • Provide instruction in FST courses as needed and within the Lead's qualifications.

  • Develop weekly and monthly course schedules and provide them to the NITC Officer in Charge, Deputy Officer in Charge, and Contracting Officer's Representative.

  • Monitor instructional delivery and coordinate resolution of scheduling, staffing, or curriculum-support issues.

  • Support instructor communication, student training requirements, and continuity of division operations.

  • Provide administrative support required by the task order.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: None

  • Master's degree in management, business, education, engineering, or a closely related field and at least eight years of experience managing training and education programs; or a bachelor's degree in one of those fields and at least 12 years of combined experience managing training and education programs.

  • Demonstrated experience leading instructors or training personnel.

  • Experience developing and managing course schedules and coordinating instructional resources.

  • Ability to provide instruction within the individual's qualified subject area.

  • Strong organization and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience leading Department of War or military education and training programs.

  • Experience supporting foundational instruction in language, mathematics, science, electronics, mechanics, computer technologies, management information systems, or supply.

  • Experience instructing international military students.
