Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a NITC Technical and Specialized Training (TST) Division Lead to oversee TST operations and provide day-to-day direction to TST instructors. This position will be located in Pensacola, FL and will be a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

The Lead coordinates instructional coverage, produces recurring course schedules, teaches TST courses as needed, and escorts international military students to authorized training sites throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Technical and Specialized Training Division operations and provide direction to TST instructors.

  • Coordinate instructional assignments, classroom coverage, and division resources.

  • Provide instruction in TST courses as needed and within the Lead's qualifications.

  • Travel within the United States to escort international military students to authorized training sites.

  • Develop weekly and monthly course schedules and provide them to the NITC Officer in Charge, Deputy Officer in Charge, and Contracting Officer's Representative.

  • Monitor instructional delivery and coordinate resolution of scheduling, staffing, travel, or curriculum-support issues.

  • Provide administrative support required by the task order.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: None

  • Master's degree in management, business, education, engineering, or a closely related field and at least eight years of experience managing military training and education programs; or a bachelor's degree in one of those fields and at least 12 years of combined experience managing military training and education programs.

  • Demonstrated experience leading instructors or military-training personnel.

  • Experience developing and managing course schedules and coordinating instructional resources.

  • Ability to provide instruction within the individual's qualified subject area.

  • Ability to travel within the United States to escort international military students.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience leading Department of War technical, leadership, professional development, or specialized training programs.

  • Experience supporting international military students or security-cooperation programs.

  • Experience coordinating student travel or offsite training activities.
