Critical Care is a 24-bed unit with state-of-the art monitoring equipment and specialty trained staff. Critical Care focuses on the care of the critically ill patient ranging from injuries through trauma, to life-threatening problems. The unit also has a focus on open-heart surgery patients, those requiring post-operative intensive monitoring and those with complex medical conditions. RN job details:

Essential Job Duties:

• Collaborates with the physician or manager to determine needs of patients

• Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner.

• Contributes to plan of care for pre-defined patient problems.

• Respects patients' rights, including the right to inform, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care.

• Assists with patient education to promote self-care and patient independence.

• Follows company policies and procedures and department protocols.

• Assists the physician with special procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited ASN or BSN program

• Must have Indiana RN license

• Previous RN experience preferred

License/Certification:

• BLS, ACLS, NIH certification

• IN RN license
