A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Telecom/Network Engineer

Position type: Full-time Contract

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Rochester, MN 55902

As a(n) Telecom/Network Engineer you will:

Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. Install and support Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series switches and Cisco Catalyst 8000 Series routers. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across OSI Layers 1-3. Deploy and support access-layer and distribution-layer network environments. Participate in network architecture reviews, planning, and technology implementations. Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders on network projects. Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures. Lead or support small to medium-sized network infrastructure projects. Ensure network configurations align with security and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have: Experience with Multi-Chassis EtherChannel (MEC). Experience with SD-WAN deployment and administration. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. Experience working within large enterprise environments. Knowledge of server and desktop operating systems Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR 6+ years of professional network engineering experience without a degree. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies. Experience configuring and deploying Cisco Catalyst C9000 Series switches. Experience configuring and deploying Cisco Catalyst C8000 Series routers. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI Model. Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking issues. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: Between $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
