Finding The Right Fit
Our Southeast division is seeking a transportation engineer with a proven track record of executing transportation projects for FDOT and city/county/local governments. Assist in marketing opportunities and work collaboratively to win transportation projects from clients including FDOT, cities, counties, and municipalities.

Actively participate in design, oversee plans production, and ensure the work is produced on schedule, profitably, and in conformance with the quality standards of Ayres and requirements of the contract.

Build and maintain respectful working relationships with PMs and other leaders within the company.

Support and participate in the development and mentorship of staff.

Actively engage in professional organizations.
Required Qualifications
-
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in transportation.
-
Registered professional engineer (PE) in Florida.
-
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of transportation

Sound knowledge of FDOT Roadway design standards and specifications
-
Proven experience in project delivery focused on transportation design, plans production, and digital delivery

A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
