Responsibilities Participates part time in the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Supportive Services Program (IOTSS) and part time Inpatient at the hospital on units where a client is presenting with a potential substance related issue. Will provide clients with substance abuse a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, individual, and group therapy, discharge planning, referrals, liaison with members of the treatment team, treatment planning, documentation of all client contacts and education and support to the client and family members. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. MA Degree in counseling or a related field along with specific course hours in alcohol and drug counseling, supervised experience, and passed written and oral examinations.2. LCADC License recognized in the state of New Jersey.3. Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in psychiatric, chemical dependency or residential treatment facility preferred.4. Experience in counseling chemically dependent adults and their family members and/or significant others.5. Working knowledge of the 12-Step Program.6. CPR/First Aid within 6 months of hire and maintained.7. Behavioral Violence Prevention within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.8. Bilingual is a plus Pay Transparency

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $29.11 to $36.39. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
