At Short Story, you will be a part of a high-velocity engineering team that creates new user experiences, optimizes warehouse and logistics operations, and improves data insights to better serve our customers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy tackling ambiguity and can solve complex problems end-to-end. The Role: As an early Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build internal and customer-facing services for processing customer orders and establish key design patterns/guidelines for all backend workloads.   • 5+ years of software development experience, 2+ Years of Python experience
  • Familiar with infrastructure, CI/CD practices
  • Familiar with the following technologies:
  • Focus on communication and documentation
  • Familiar with common API and backend testing patterns

Nice to Haves:

  • Worked in a fully remote environment with colleagues from around the world
  • Test suite/pattern creation and automation experience
  • Managed an engineering team of 3+ people
  • Experience with queue / event-driven systems
  • Worked in sprint-based environments with an OKR framework
