Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a VP or Director of Warehouse Operations who leads the performance of warehouse network. The role is accountable for safe operations, dependable client service, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and warehouse operating costs across B2B, direct-to-consumer fulfillment, and value-added services.

Skills and Requirements

  • Demonstrated senior leadership in warehousing, distribution, or third-party logistics, including responsibility across multiple facilities and experience managing General Managers or Operations Managers.

  • Strong working knowledge of both B2B retail distribution and DTC fulfillment, including retailer routing, labeling, shipment compliance, inventory accuracy, and value-added services.

  • Experience building labor plans and operating budgets, interpreting warehouse financial results, and delivering measurable improvements in service, productivity, cost, or quality.

  • Ability to diagnose operating problems using WMS data, spreadsheets, dashboards, and direct observation; turn findings into actions with clear owners and follow-through.

  • Strong people leadership, client communication, and change-management skills, with a record of developing managers and maintaining consistent standards across teams. ·Experience opening warehouses, onboarding 3PL clients, implementing WMS changes, and applying Lean or similar improvement methods.

·Familiarity with Deposco, A2000, or comparable WMS platforms is helpful.

·A relevant degree or equivalent practical leadership experience is preferred.
