Full job description
Work closely with the Senior HR Coordinator and members of the Finance and Administration team to support the full employment lifecycle and provide comprehensive human resources support to faculty, students, and staff.Coordinate recruitment, hiring, changes in employment, and separations. This position will have primary responsibility for student employment and will assist with staff and faculty HR tasks as needed.Process pre-employment authorizations, coordinate and ensure I-9 compliance, and track and respond to student eligibility requirements.Act as a timekeeper, ensuring compliance with payroll deadlines and university and department policies.Backup for the Sr. Human Resources CoordinatorCollaborate with other departments, the College of Natural Sciences and UT central HR offices, Payroll Services, and other related offices for related human resource functions.Other duties as assigned.
