Primary Purpose

The Outbound Sales Representative (NHLW) is an essential sales partner in the USS non-hazardous liquid waste business. The role creates new revenue by prospecting restaurants and other food-service businesses for grease-trap pumping, disposal, and recurring annual service. This is a high-volume automated outbound dialer environment in which the representative is expected to meet established outbound call-volume and productivity expectations, which may include 150 or more calls per day, while maintaining quality discovery, accurate CRM records, effective follow-up, and a professional customer experience.

Essential Functions

  • Use an automated outbound dialer to meet established outbound call volume and productivity expectations, which may include 150 or more calls per day, and work assigned prospect lists, campaigns, and lead queues efficiently.

  • Prospect restaurants, restaurant groups, commercial kitchens, and other qualified food-service businesses for grease-trap pumping, disposal, and recurring annual-service opportunities.

  • Reach owners, general managers, facilities leaders, and other decision-makers; navigate gatekeepers and quickly establish the purpose and value of the call.

  • Conduct concise discovery to confirm trap size, service frequency, current provider, service issues, compliance concerns, number of locations, and buying timing.

  • Explain USS non-hazardous liquid waste services, recommend an appropriate service schedule, handle common objections, and ask for the business.

  • Prepare accurate quotes and service proposals in accordance with established pricing, discount, contracting, credit, and approval guidelines; complete required customer and site information; and close transactional business efficiently.

  • Sell recurring annual-service programs and identify multi-location, referral, renewal, and related liquid-waste opportunities.

  • Maintain disciplined follow-up with open opportunities and selected new accounts to support activation, satisfaction, retention, and expansion.

  • Coordinate with operations, customer care, marketing, and other sales channels to confirm serviceability, schedule expectations, pricing inputs, required customer and site information, and an accurate handoff for service activation.

  • Accurately disposition every call and record contacts, opportunities, quotes, next steps, and outcomes in Salesforce or the designated CRM within established wrap-time expectations.

  • Meet or exceed established activity, productivity, quality, pipeline, conversion, customer acquisition, and revenue performance expectations.

  • Use approved scripts, call results, conversion data, market feedback, call coaching, and quality monitoring to improve performance while following company policies and applicable calling requirements governing outbound sales communication and customer contact.

  • Maintain working knowledge of USS services, assigned markets, service capabilities, pricing parameters, competitive conditions, and applicable operating requirements necessary to effectively sell and support customer accounts.

  • Perform other duties as required.
