Position Description:
Assist the FGSBS with digital accessibility and inclusion across the institution’s academic ecosystem. In addition, the role analyzes and evaluates student academic records to ensure degree plan accuracy and graduation eligibility. Supports activities related t assist in academic and operational activities related to all FGSBS academic programs.
Texas Tech Health El Paso (TTEP) is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas.
Additionally, this position is not eligible for remote or hybrid opportunities. All work is required to be performed onsite at TTEP.

Major/Essential Functions:

Converts documents into compliant, accessible formats, such as PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel files, to guarantee full screen-reader accessibility using procedures that provide access and accommodations for all students.

Provides back-up support in academic areas, including maintaining up-to-date syllabi, managing lecture reminders, making lecture materials available to students, creating and proctoring exams, tracking attendance, managing coursework deadlines, classroom audiovisual setup, and assignments across all academic programs.

Analyzes student academic records to verify the accuracy of degree plans and evaluates student records to determine graduation eligibility for all FGSBS academic programs.

Assists with the coordination of events such as new student orientation, commencement, and other FGSBS activities.

Assists with administrative activities as part of larger projects, such as, but not limited to, work orders, room reservations, audiovisual setup, and office maintenance.

Gathers and analyzes information from other graduate programs.

Remain current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.

Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in job related field plus two (2) years responsible related experience;

OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal six (6) years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working at a higher education institution is preferred, as is experience handling sensitive information.
