Join The VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT Team!

VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking Full time, Overnight Emergency Veterinary Assistant to join the team at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT. We have a unique culture in our hospital that values each person’s individual skill and personality. Job Type : full time, 6pm - 6am

Compensation : $23 - $30 / hour based on experience and skill set

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring for sedated procedures

  • Full Technician Skill Utilization

  • Collecting patient histories & physical exams

  • Venipuncture / IVC placement

  • Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)

  • Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

  • Providing compassionate care for all patients

  • Emergency/Critical Care experience preferred
