Paid Internership -Operations & Materials Planning

Kelly® is hiring!

Location: West Ridge, Elyria, OH

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Schedule: 20–40 hours per week flexible schedule

Duration: 6 months

About the Opportunity

Kelly® is seeking an Intern to support our client’s operations and materials planning team. This role offers hands-on experience in operations, production planning, inventory management, supply chain, data analysis, and process improvement.

Education Requirement

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Must be eligible to participate in a college internership program.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze production, inventory, and operational data to support decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain Excel reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

  • Support production and materials planning and monitor inventory levels.

  • Assist with continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.

  • Pursuing a relevant degree (e.g., Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business).

  • Strong analytical, Excel, and problem-solving skills.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Effective communication skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or experience in operations, supply chain, or continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle).

  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

  • Interest in manufacturing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

  • Prior participation in co-op or internship programs within relevant fields.
