Standard Job Description

You will be the Ground System Discipline

Engineer (GSDE) for the Multi Domain Control

System (MDCS) team. Our team provides on-site

support for test efforts for unmanned air

systems to include ground station operation, test

procedure development, and real time control

room assistance during ground and flight test

operations. MDCS GSDE interface between the

air system, pilots and ground system teams to

ensure that customer requirements are met and

that anomalies are resolved in a timely manner. As the GSDE you will be responsible helping

design, develop, integrate and test a variety of

mission system equipment onto airborne

platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

Generally has 3+ years of related experience and

may have a post-secondary degree or training in

a related discipline.

  • Supporting the Hardware and SW Engineering

teams, ensuring local efforts stay coordinated

with flight test efforts and problems get resolved

as they arise.

  • Contributing as part the System Integration

Testing, developing systems including System

Integration Labs (SILs), Deployable Systems,

and Fixed Facility systems across several

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering,

Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering,

related STEM degree, OR applicable experience

from desired skills below in lieu of the degree.

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
