Standard Job Description

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

You will be the Industrial Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Archbald, PA. Our team is responsible for optimizing production workflows and facility layouts.

As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing sequences of operations, improving plant efficiencies, and guiding facility modifications.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and design operation sequences and workflow to improve efficiencies.

  • Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.

  • Manage training programs for production personnel.

  • Conduct cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record studies.

  • Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and operating method revisions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

BS level degree or higher in Engineering Discipline with 1+ Year of Experience

Must be a US citizen and ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $63400.00 - $117800.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
