Ready to make an impact with a high-profile financialservices client?

CBRE is seeking aSenior Facilities Manager to lead facilities operations for a premier corporateoffice portfolio totaling approximately 500,000 square feet. Based onsite atthe client’s modern high-rise headquarters in Sunrise, FL, you’ll serve as the primaryfacilities leader while also overseeing a small remote office presence inAtlanta and Charlotte.

This highly visiblerole combines strategic leadership, client relationship management, andoperational excellence across a portfolio consisting entirely of office space.You’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintainingcompliance and operational standards, managing vendors and budgets, andcreating a best-in-class workplace experience for our client’s employees andvisitors.

As the trustedfacilities partner for a prominent client in the financial and professionalservices (FPS) sector, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders to driveperformance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensureseamless day-to-day operations across all locations. Quarterly travel to the Atlantaand Charlotte offices may be required.

This is more than afacilities management position. It’s an opportunity to influence workplacestrategy, strengthen client partnerships, and lead a high-performing officeportfolio for one of CBRE’s valued clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary facilities leader for a500,000-square-foot office portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery andoperational performance across all locations.

  • Foster strong client relationships through proactivecommunication, regular stakeholder meetings, and responsive resolution offacility-related concerns.

  • Lead and coordinate facility repairs, maintenance, andbuilding operations by partnering with technicians, vendors, and contractors toensure high-quality, timely service.

  • Provide leadership and formal supervision to facilitiesstaff, including performance management, coaching, training, and careerdevelopment.

  • Manage daily team operations by assigning priorities,coordinating schedules, cross-training staff, and ensuring key deliverables areachieved.

  • Plan, prepare, and oversee operating budgets, variancereporting, and capital projects, ensuring sound financial management andstrategic execution.

  • Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance withlocal, state, and federal regulations while maintaining high standards forquality, safety, and operational excellence.

  • Develop and enforce environmental health and safetyprograms and procedures that support a safe and productive workplace.

  • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, overseeinvoicing processes, and review and approve purchase orders for parts,services, and labor.

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements,repairs, and upgrades, implementing solutions that enhance efficiency,reliability, and workplace experience.

  • Apply broad business and technical expertise to alignfacilities operations with client objectives and broader organizationalinitiatives.

  • Travel to remote office locations in Atlanta and Charlotteon a quarterly basis, and as needed, to maintain strong client relationships,oversee operations, and ensure consistent service delivery across theportfolio.

  • Resolve complex operational and technical challenges with aproactive, solutions-oriented approach.

  • Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting CBRE's RISEvalues while driving continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountabilityacross the team.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degreepreferred with 5-8 years of facilities management experience; a combination ofeducation and applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience managing amulti-site commercial office portfolio is strongly preferred.

  • Experience supporting ahigh-profile corporate client, preferably within the Financial &Professional Services (FPS) sector, is preferred.

  • Facility Managementcertification (IFMA, BOMA, FMP, CFM, or similar) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experiencemanaging operating budgets, capital projects, accruals, deferrals, forecasting,and variance reporting.

  • Proven success leadingteams, including staffing, coaching, performance management, employeedevelopment, and retention.

  • Strong client-facingcommunication skills with the ability to effectively present information,manage expectations, and navigate sensitive or complex situations.

  • Proven leadershipability with a track record of motivating teams, driving accountability, anddelivering results across multiple locations.

  • Experience managingvendor relationships, service contracts, and third-party service providers.

  • Strong workingknowledge of building operations, maintenance programs, compliancerequirements, and workplace services within a commercial office environment.

  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

  • Highly organized withstrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach toidentifying and implementing improvements.

  • Comfortable analyzingfinancial and operational data to support decision-making and portfolioperformance.

  • Ability to travelquarterly, and as needed, to support remote office locations in Atlanta andCharlotte.
