Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to join an engineering team with comprehensive knowledge in Electronic Warfare systems for one of our largest defense and technology clients. This will also require a solid understanding of project management. This role is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team in the integration and test of system hardware, software, and supporting facilities, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility while meeting program technical, schedule, and cost objectives.

The IPT Lead will support system design and development efforts from early design through integration, test, installation, and customer acceptance. This individual will work closely with Program Management, Chief Systems Engineering, and customers to plan and execute system-level integration, verification, and test activities.

In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for system integration and test activities on complex Electronic Warfare (EW) programs, owning the planning, coordination, and execution of verification efforts from development through system qualification. On a daily basis, you will work closely with systems, hardware, software, and program teams to ensure all subsystems are successfully integrated, tested, and validated against requirements. You will develop integration and test strategies, create and maintain test plans, coordinate test events, and oversee the implementation of test equipment, software, and analysis tools. The role requires troubleshooting integration and test issues, leading root-cause investigations, managing technical risks, and driving corrective actions to resolution. You will regularly interface with program leadership, Chief Systems Engineers, customers, and subject matter experts to communicate program status, verification progress, and test readiness. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while ensuring all activities comply with program, quality, and organizational standards.

Skills and Requirements

Experience leading system integration and test activities for complex defense, aerospace, Electronic Warfare (EW), radar, communications, or mission systems. Strong background developing and executing system-level verification and validation plans, test strategies, and requirements verification matrices. Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software integration issues and lead cross-functional teams through problem resolution. Experience coordinating test events, test readiness reviews, and implementation of Special Test Equipment (STE) or Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. Prior IPT Lead or technical leadership experience on defense, aerospace, or EW programs. Experience with system integration, verification, qualification, and customer acceptance testing. Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action experience. Familiarity with RF systems, test automation tools, and electronic test equipment. Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements management, and military qualification standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DO-160). Experience supporting DoD/U.S. Government customers and presenting technical status to senior leadership.
